Brewster, Washington, is located in Okanogan County on the confluence of the Okanogan and Columbia Rivers. There are about 2,370 people living in the community and approximately 73% of the population is Hispanic or Latino. A unique feature of the area is the economy of Brewster is dependent on the fruit industry, as it is surrounded by acres of orchards in the surrounding countryside.
Some local places to visit are the Apple Factory, delicious family-run restaurants, Sweet Tea's Gift Shop, and the newly established Boys & Girls Club. Some nearby destinations to visit are the Grand Coulee Dam, Omak Lake, Dry Falls, and, and Lake Chelan.
The EASB team teachers at Brewster Elementary School in three 6th grade science classes. The team also visits Brewster High School a few times throughout the week in the afternoons to facilitate college and career readiness activities.
